I would like you to meet “Friendly” the knitted piggy!
This poor guy waited way too long to be finished. Back in January I posted a picture called “Piggy in Progress” where I had the head and body done. Well last week I finally finished the rest of this little fella. My daughter was very patient with me. She was very excited when it was all done!
Can I just add, I am not very good at sewing on little legs on these animals! I ended up sewing them on too far apart on the piggy. He now almost looks like a penguin sliding down some ice on his belly. But you know what? My daughter loves it so that’s all that matters, right? ![]()
Here’s Friendly meeting up with some of his knitted and crocheted buddies.
This piggy was so much fun to make! Next I plan on knitting a little elephant for my son. I need to start a collection of knitted toys for him too.
